Requirements
Canadian resident, age 18 or older, one personal account, a compatible device, a valid email address, and accurate registration information. Individual offers can require specific purchases, receipts, or other actions.
How it works
What is Caddle?
Caddle is a Canadian cashback and consumer-insights app operated by Caddle Inc. Eligible members can earn Cash Back Credits through receipt and coupon offers, surveys, reviews, ads, email sign-ups, and other campaign-specific activities. It is free to use, but it is not employment or a predictable income source: the value, availability, and eligibility for each activity can vary by offer, profile, region, and campaign.
Its basic model is a trade-off. Caddle rewards members for shopping information and feedback that can be used in market research, advertising, and analytics. It can be useful if you already buy qualifying products and are comfortable with that data exchange. It is a poor fit if you expect every receipt to earn or do not want to share purchase and survey data.

How Caddle works
After registration, members browse the current offers feed. An offer describes the specific action, timing, reward, and restrictions. Depending on what is available to your account, this can include a survey, a product review, an eligible purchase with a receipt upload, an advertisement, an email sign-up, or another brand activity. Offer availability is targeted and finite, so it is not safe to assume a daily volume or a typical earning amount.
For a purchase rebate, read the offer before buying. Caddle says the exact product, size, flavour, quantity, retailer, date window, code, or purchase route can matter. Offers have limited budgets and may disappear before the stated end date. A review activity tied to a product rebate can also require that the original rebate has already been approved and that you have used the product.
Check each offer before you buy: receipt eligibility depends on the exact product and the offer’s own rules.
Receipt rules: where many claims fail
Caddle says a receipt’s purchase date and its upload date must both fall within the stated offer timeframe. Weekly-refresh offers run from Thursday at 12:00 am EST through Wednesday at 11:59 pm EST. Other campaigns can have a longer continuous window. Upload promptly rather than waiting for the end of the period.
Receipts must be original, unaltered, legible, and fully visible. Caddle says it validates using receipt descriptions and UPCs, and its FAQ says a receipt should show the retailer, location, total, date, and items purchased. Common decline reasons include a blurry or incomplete image, a duplicate or edited receipt, the wrong item or quantity, a missing date, an expired period, a return, or missing proof for a qualifying online order.
One person may hold one account, and Caddle’s terms restrict more than one user account per mobile device, address, or email. Household members can have their own accounts, but the same receipt cannot be submitted more than once, including across household accounts. Do not try to reuse a receipt or use automation; Caddle can suspend or terminate accounts for suspected fraud or rule violations.
Cash-out: $20 and a cautious timing estimate
You can request a cash-out once your processed Cash Back Credit balance reaches CAD $20. Pending submissions are not included. Caddle describes Interac e-Transfer to the email registered on the account as the normal method, so confirm that email carefully before submitting the request.
Timing is not a fixed promise. Caddle’s current FAQ says it reviews and approves a request within two weeks, processes e-Transfers twice a month, and says transfers typically arrive 1–3 business days after processing. A different FAQ answer gives a shorter description, so the cautious approach is to allow for the review and scheduled processing cycle rather than expecting an immediate transfer.
The terms do not state a routine cash-out fee. They do say that a lost, stolen, or expired reward email may be restored as credits less a discretionary $10 fee (or another legally permitted amount). An unaccepted Interac transfer can expire after 30 days, and a transfer sent to an invalid account email can be forfeited under the terms. These are reasons to keep your account email current.
Privacy: understand the data exchange
Caddle’s privacy policy says receipt uploads can be processed with OCR. A receipt may reveal loyalty information, a name, store address, products, prices, receipt ID, and transaction details; the policy says banking and card information is redacted. Caddle also describes collecting registration details, survey and review responses, device/network/IP information, service activity, and—in applicable cases—advertising identifiers.
Before joining, decide whether the rewards are worth sharing receipt, survey, and account data under Caddle’s privacy terms.
The policy says Caddle uses data for market-research reports and datasets, advertising and remarketing, and may share purchase/receipt information and responses with clients and service providers for advertising, marketing research, or analytics where permitted. Some processing can take place outside Canada. You can request access, correction, or withdrawal of consent through Caddle’s privacy contact, but the policy warns that withdrawing consent can affect your ability to use the service.
Risks and practical limits
Read the offer detail before starting, retain the original receipt until a claim is processed, and keep a record of submitted offers. Caddle says its decisions on whether requirements and documentation were met are final and binding. It can alter or end offers or the service, so credits should not be treated as a bank balance.
Its terms say an account can be considered inactive after six months with no valid claim (one year for Quebec residents). Caddle may deduct a $4-per-month inactivity management fee from available credits, without creating a negative balance. Credits are not transferable and do not earn interest. The terms also say members are responsible for any taxes associated with rewards; we found no official tax-form or reporting threshold, so this is not tax advice.
